Lessons with a Purpose
What's Your Style?
What is your goal? Whether you want to learn to play the classics, what is on the radio, or those "mysterious" church lead sheets, we can focus on the skills that you need to succeed.
Who Are You?
Learning to play the piano may be something you want for your children or it might be a lifelong dream of yours! It's never too late to start.
-
College Music Majors have to pass a piano proficiency test. I can help you!
-
Band students who need help with rhythms and note reading? I can help you!
-
Church keyboardists who need to navigate and play from lead sheets. Yep, I can help!
-
Those who play by notes already and wish to develop their "ear" for improvising and playing without music by chords. This is where it gets fun! I can help you too!
What You can Expect
Our first lesson will be a time of getting to know each other and talking about your goals and dreams. If I feel that I can help you, we'll set up a learning plan that will be unique to you! Flexibility is key as we will always be adapting our plan to keep it fun and keep you learning.
Dress casually and expect a warm welcome from two sweet doggies who will calm down once they have said hello.
What I will expect
I want you to enjoy yourself and learn too!
I want you to be committed to the process. I will reserve your time in my schedule so I will be most grateful if you can reserve this time as well.

Do you have a family member in assisted living? Do they love music and love to sing or listen to singing? I can make a weekly trip to their new home and spend time with them singing their favorites and helping them to sing along. We'll laugh alot and allow time for reminiscing of great times and great songs. Charges are flexible. THIS ministry I wish I could do for free. Unfortunately, Duke Power wants their pay in dollars.
